go to http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
and get the latest hosts file.
Locate the hosts file and edit yours to match that one. Save.
close all browsers.
Re open browsers and you will be a tad bit better off.
The hosts file was originally created to block advertisements.
but the guy found that lots of bad websites can be blocked t the same time and known virus updater sites can be blocked with the same trick.
If you know of a site that should be in the MVP list. you may want to make an effort to let it be known.
